Kubo & The Two Strings: Elemental Review

Water: Is for animation.  The animation in this movie is unlike anything I have ever seen.  It was almost like everything was made from paper, which makes sense in the movie.  However, it was awesome.

Earth: Is for Asia.  I say Asia because I am an ignorant white American and I am not sure if this movie draws inspiration from Japan or China, but it was amazing.  I love the mythologies of both of these countries and how they inject it in all of their modern art forms.

Air: Is for magic.  The magic use in this movie was fantastic.  It kind of reminded me of Avatar: The Last Airbender.  I loved it!  I loved it!

Fire: Is for the moon.  The moon plays a role in the movie and the scene at the end with the moon character, I loved how he looked with the light around him in halos.  I thought it was pretty great.  I liked that part.  I liked the way that it looked.

This movie was good.  It wasn't amazing, but the animation was different and the story was okay.  It wasn't that original.  But I believe the movie was about the animation and not the story.  Definitely worth a viewing.
