Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows
Water: Is for turtles. The turtles were exactly how they should be. This movie was everything the first movie wasn't. It defined each of the brothers and did a good job at capturing their individuality without ruining their cohesion.
Earth: Is for turtle shells. Most people HATE the turtle's shell accessories, but I love it! I think that it is so clever and I think that if the turtles were heroes today they would look just like this with Mikey and his skateboard on his back and Donny with his tech strapped to his shell. Very clever.
Air: Is for April and Casey. Love the characters. They are essential characters to the series, almost as important as the turtles themselves. However, the actors that played each character was TERRIBLE! The movie was great from beginning to end, top to bottom, except for the acting of these two characters. Sad...So sad.
Fire: Is for Beep Bop and Rocksteady. These villains were flawless! They appeared a little too CGI, like their designs were cheaper than the turtles (which might be so), but it was weird to see their quality was way off compared to the turtles. However, their banter and language was perfect! Definitely a kid's movie for a kid's mentality, but it was fun!
This movie was so much better than the first. They corrected all of the wrongs from the first and made it better. BRAVO! Or rather, cowabunga (spell???)!
