Batman vs. Superman: Elemental Review
Elemental Review: A type of review where I give each part of the movie an elemental attribute. These reviews are short & spicy, which is perfect in a world where 15 seconds is all you get!
Let me start of by turning you all off by saying: I am a Marvel fan, and honestly don't know much about the DC universe other than a little more than what the general public knows. I did get a little into the New 52, Animal Man, Swamp Thing, and Aquaman being some of my favorite superheroes of all time. But honestly most of the Batman vs. Superman Easter eggs were lost to me (although I did catch the Riddler one!!! Jim Carey as the Riddler gave me LIFE as a child).
Anyway:
Water if for Aquaman: My most anticipated part of the movie was the reveal of AQUAMAN! He is by far my favorite Justice League character and is completely underrated. His screen time was much too short.
Earth is for Metropolis: In true DC cinematic fashion, the story was dark and brooding. Although, I did enjoy that they carried out the aftermath of Superman's destruction of Metropolis with his battle against Zod from the first movie as a serious plot point.
Air is for Visions: Batman had a few confusing visions during the movie. Apparently, via self-educating, I discovered that some of the visions could hint at the Flashpoint Paradox? Whatever it was, it was lost on me though there are a lot of YouTube videos out about it and what it means and why the director felt it was necessary to ad that scene.
Fire is for Wonder Woman: By far the best part of the movie is when Wonder Woman appears in all her glory and kicks supervillain ass!
As usual, only you can decide if the movie was great or not. I enjoyed it. I prefer Marvel because I feel that they tackle the "double" life that most superheroes lead, where DC is all capes and spandex. However, it is refreshing sometimes to see a live-action superhero movie where goodies and baddies battle it out with their super strength...Even if that means destroying a city.
I give it *** 3 Stars out of 5

Lux & Poochie
Episode One has been updated. I hope to finalize it in the next few days. Slightly a different start than other versions, but still with the same general theme. I know you are probably unsure of the theme and what I am trying to say since it's only been one episode, but stick with me. It's a great commentary on today's age and culture.
Episode Two coming later this month!
